Winter 2010-2011 Winter is in full force here at Rangeley Lake Resort. Small buckets of salt are placed in the cabins for guests to use on the steps, porches and pathways. Please be careful while enjoying our beautiful white winter! We are happy to announce that Rangeley Lake Resort has received the Premier Resort designation from Interval International for 2011. We sell discounted tickets for Saddleback Mountain, Rangeley Lake Trail System and Sugarloaf Mountain. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk in the grand lodge either the night before the morning of your ski date. Fall 2010 The foliage and the Fall season bring many country fairs. From August through October there is a fair every week in Maine. Visit one of these fairs to enjoy harness racing, exhibits, midways, animals and much more. You can find a couple of corn mazes about an hour or so from Rangeley. The themes are "Support Maine Farmers" where you find Hannaford logo incorporated in the maize and "Great State of Maine" where the Maze is a lobster. Each farms has a pumpkin patch, petting zoo and hayrides. Summer 2010 Resort News We look forward to seeing all of our owners, members and guests for the summer season! We have brought back our weekly campfires for the season here at the resort, so join us for S'mores, friendly people, and a great way to end your evening. We are also happy to offer 2-hour boat tours on Rangeley Lake guided by a local merchant who will tell you about the history of the Rangeley area as you enjoy the peacefulness of the water. February 2010 We offer discounted ski lift tickets to Saddleback Mountain and Sugarloaf Mountain. The first Sunday of every month is Maine Day at Saddleback Mountain, This is when Maine residents ski for a discounted rate of $35 for the day. December 2009 Resort News Beginning January 1, 2010, the dog fee will be a one-time registration fee at $35 for a full week stay and $25 for bonus time and split weeks. Local Information
Fall is a wonderful time to visit Rangeley, but we have already had snow this season, so be sure to bring your warm clothes if you're visiting this month! If you'll be here for Halloween, let your kids join the locals in town for trick-or-treating, or go pub hopping in costume later that night. November kicks off the winter and holiday season with holiday fairs, the hunter's ball, Saddleback Mountain's opening day and the lighting of the Giving Tree in Rangeley.
